TikTok USDS Joint Venture is seeking a highly skilled ML engineer to help advance our feed and e-commerce recommendations. You will work on large-scale systems, build user-interest models, and develop predictive models for ranking alongside real-time data pipelines.

The role emphasizes hands-on ML work, feature engineering, and tool development in a fast-paced, in-person team at a fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week. A strong background in CS and ML is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
• Strong programming and problem-solving ability.
• Graduates in applied ML welcome, familiar with algorithms such as Collaborative Filtering, Matrix Factorization, Factorization Machines, Word2vec, Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting Trees, Deep Neural Networks, Wide & Deep, etc.
• Experience with Deep Learning Tools such as TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Experience with at least one programming language like C++/Python or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in building large-scale recommendation algorithms and systems (10M–100M data scale) across TikTok categories.
• Build long and short-term user interest models and extract information from large data to explore latent interests.
• Design, develop, evaluate and iterate on predictive models for candidate generation and ranking (e.g., CTR/CR), including real-time data pipelines and feature engineering.
• Design and build supporting/debugging tools as needed.
