Capital One seeks a Machine Learning Engineer 4 to drive AI transformations and production-scale ML across the platform. You will work with Product and Data Science teams to design, build, and deploy models, while guiding infrastructure, data pipelines, and testing practices in a collaborative, Agile setting.

The role emphasizes production readiness, cloud deployment across AWS/GCP/Azure, and governance for responsible AI, with programming in Python/Java/Golang/C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of experience programming with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
• At least 4 years of Machine Learning experience using PyTorch or Tensorflow and libraries.
• At least 4 years of experience using large scale distributed systems (Spark, Ray).
• At least 2 years deploying ML solutions in production on AWS, GCP, or Azure and using Kubernetes.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and deliver ML models and components with Product and Data Science teams.
• Inform ML infrastructure decisions including model choice, data, and feature selection.
• Write and test application code, develop and validate ML models, and automate tests and deployment.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team to create software for big data and ML apps.
• Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production.
• Leverage cloud architectures to deliver optimized ML models at scale.
• Construct data pipelines to feed ML models.
• Apply CI/CD and monitoring to ensure reliable deployment.
• Ensure governance and Responsible/Explainable AI practices.
