Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a data-focused professional to join a dynamic team of data scientists in Mountain View. You will conceive, code, and deploy scalable data science models using modern tools and practices.

Responsibilities include data wrangling, feature engineering, model deployment, and collaborating with product teams to translate insights into customer benefits. Strong Python/ML tooling and cloud experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience.
• Knowledgeable with data science tools and frameworks (Python, Scikit, NLTK, Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, R, Spark).
• Basic knowledge of ML techniques (classification, regression, clustering).
• Understand ML principles (training, validation).
• Knowledge of SQL and data processing tools.
• CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, performance, I/O and memory tuning.
• Software engineering basics: Git/Github, workflows, production-ready code.
• Experience deploying highly scalable software for millions of users.
• Experience with GPU acceleration (CUDA/cuDNN).
• Experience with cloud integrations (AWS, GCP).
• Strong oral and written communication; able to present to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Discover data sources, access, import, clean, and render ML-ready data.
• Work with data scientists to create features and pipelines to train and deploy models.
• Partner with data scientists to design and refine ML algorithms.
• Run A/B tests, analyze results, and evaluate model impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and engineers.
• Explore new tech shifts to connect with customer benefits.
