Job summary

Apple Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer and Researcher to join the Creative Foundations team within Camera & Photos.

You'll invent models and translate breakthroughs into user-facing features for camera and photo experiences. You will bridge research and product, prototype high-potential ideas, and collaborate with product designers, software engineers, and aesthetic science researchers in an evolving ML landscape.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in CS/ML/AI/EE/Applied Mathematics or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in ML, computer vision, or related field with shipping models or published research.
• Deep understanding of modern ML architectures incl. transformers, diffusion, contrastive learning, multi-modal models.
• Proficiency in ML frameworks such as PyTorch; full model lifecycle from research to production.
