Multilingual Learners (ML)/English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher
Minnesota Virtual Academy (MNVA) is seeking a dedicated
Multilingual (ML)/English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher. In this full-time position, you will support students’ language development in an engaging online environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, technology, and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:- A current Minnesota Department of Education (PELSB) ELL/ESL teaching license.
- Proficiency in using online learning platforms and technology to facilitate instruction.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage responsibilities effectively in a remote work environment.
Additional Qualifications:- Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
- Working knowledge of the subject matter, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs.
Travel Requirements:Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
