Job summary

Google's Software Engineer, AI/ML, Search Personalization role in Mountain View, CA invites mid-level engineers to help push the boundaries of search and personalization at scale. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of software development experience in one or more languages, or 1 year with advanced degree.
2 years of experience with C++ programming.
1 year building and deploying recommendation systems models in production.
1 year integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
Mentoring more junior team members is desirable.

Responsibilities

Write product or system development code.
Collaborate through design and code reviews to ensure best practices.
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on updates.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve impacts on hardware, network, or service ops.
Implement solutions in ML areas, utilize ML infrastructure, and optimize models and data processing.
