Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks an Intern Machine Learning Developer to learn and apply industry-leading ML technologies on cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS, or Edge. You will work on projects delivering value for external client engagements or internal initiatives.

The role emphasizes machine learning, data science, and software development with a fast-paced team of data scientists and engineers. Eligibility to work full-time in Canada for 4 months starting January 2027 is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated familiarity or interest in machine learning, statistics, or data mining through internships or projects.
• Experience with one or more scripting languages (Python preferred).
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools and LLM concepts.
• Able to communicate ideas to peers and managers; work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Must be eligible to work full-time for 4 months starting in January 2027.
• French fluency is required for candidates in Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Join a fast-paced consulting team to conceptualize, develop and deploy ML solutions.
• Collaborate with Partners, Product Managers, Data Scientists and Engineers to solve enterprise problems.
• Support delivery teams in AI, ML, and LLM initiatives on major cloud providers.
