Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Program Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our ML data initiatives. You will own end-to-end data lifecycles, from defining dataset requirements to scaling data pipelines and ensuring ML teams have necessary resources to innovate.

You will lead cross-functional programs, translate labeling policies into scalable data taxonomies, and design ML evaluation frameworks to measure data quality. This role demands strong communication of analyses to varied audiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data analysis experience with quantitative and qualitative data.
• Deep knowledge of the ML data lifecycle including labeling and data curation.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs spanning organizations.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end ML data lifecycle from mining and labeling to evaluation and policy translation.
• Translate labeling policies into scalable data taxonomies and code.
• Design and implement ML evaluation frameworks and data-centric metrics.
• Communicate findings with dashboards and data visualizations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Influence data selection strategies to maximize ROI from labeling efforts.
