This hybrid role contributes at the intersection of data engineering and machine learning, turning real-world sources into durable datasets and interfaces trusted by researchers and engineers. You will own shared data foundations, collaborating with applied-AI engineers on model requirements and product engineers on

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating production data systems used by researchers or engineers.
• Strong programming, querying, and data-modeling skills with the ability to write maintainable, tested production software.
• Understanding of time-dependent data correctness, including backfills, revisions, freshness, and point-in-time availability.

Responsibilities

• Own ingestion, backfills, validation, and observability for high-volume, time-dependent data.
• Define data contracts and point-in-time semantics for model training, evaluation, and product use.
• Create reusable workflows for bringing public and customer data into the system.
• Build data quality, lineage, freshness, and access controls for trustworthy data.
