Job summary

AppLovin in Palo Alto is seeking a data platform engineer for its ML Data Platform to design and build data processing infrastructure for model training and feature serving, prioritizing performance, reproducibility, and traceability.

Work closely with research teams to implement new data processing architectures for emerging model paradigms, identify bottlenecks from ingestion to feature delivery, and help establish best practices and tooling used across ML groups.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with BS/MS in CS.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Flink.
• Solid grounding in data structures, systems design, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data processing infrastructure for model training and feature serving.
