Job summary

AWS Annapurna Labs (U.S.) Inc. is seeking an experienced Power Architect to drive power architecture for ML accelerator platforms in our data center environments. You will develop DVFS flows, power control schemes, and algorithms to optimize energy use while maximizing performance.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with software, RTL, and pre-silicon teams, mentor engineers, and help deliver scalable, power-efficient solutions across the hardware-software stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in power architecture and management.
• Proven DVFS flow and power optimization experience.
• Designing power control schemes and algorithms.
• Expertise in peak power management and di/dt handling.
• Python scripting for modeling and automation.
• C/C++ programming and software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of RTL design and pre-silicon validation flow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design power architecture solutions for ML accelerator platforms.
• Develop DVFS flows and power control schemes.
• Create and validate power management algorithms for various operating conditions.
• Lead peak power management initiatives and di/dt handling efforts.
• Analyze workloads for power-performance trade-offs.
• Collaborate with software teams to integrate and verify power solutions.
• Coordinate with RTL and pre-silicon teams to meet design flow requirements.
• Create power models and automation scripts for analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive requirements.
