Overview

The Assistant Vice President is responsible for FX and Derivatives Desk business operation. Major responsibilities include daily global markets trading and assist team to meet financial target. This incumbent is subject to KPI evaluation.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

Foreign Exchange and Derivatives Management

  • Trade authorized global markets products
  • Collaborate with product team to quote global markets product prices for clients
  • Execute Head Office orders during New York time
  • Act as back up of designated team

New Product and Research

  • Participate in the new product research and development and life cycle management
  • Analyze research report and financial market news, and conduct business analysis as needed
  • Keep abreast of financial market developments and regulatory updates by attending training workshops, seminars
  • Participate in special projects and/or other duties as assigned

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding anti-money laundering, BSA, OFAC, Dodd-Frank framework, Volcker rule, etc.
  • Execute transactions within authorized limits and monitor global markets product risk exposures
  • Monitor counterparty credit risks and ensure there are no breaches
  • Follow existing policies and procedures, and provide recommendations/update as needed
Qualifications
  • Bchelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5+ years of Financial Markets experience required
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge in Financial Markets, trading, and compliance
  • Bilingual ability in Mandarin preferred
Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
