Job summary

The Maggiore Group is seeking a results-driven Mixologist to lead our beverage program across one of our award-winning Arizona venues. You’ll design seasonal menus, craft signature drinks, and shape the brand’s beverage identity while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

You will train and coach bar staff, implement standardized procedures, and manage costs, quality, and sanitation. This role blends creativity with operational excellence and offers salary with tip potential.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years as a professional bartender.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, and beverage cost controls.
  • Experience developing successful training programs.
  • Thorough understanding of restaurant safety and sanitation.
  • ServSafe Certification & Food Handler Card.
  • Experience with inventory systems and COGS management.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to create unique, elevated cocktail programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design innovative seasonal cocktail menus and signature beverage programs.
  • Create recipes, specifications, and standardized operating procedures.
  • Develop bar training manuals, checklists, and educational materials.
  • Train bar teams to execute every cocktail with consistency and precision.
  • Analyze and control beverage COGS, pricing, inventory, and pour costs.
  • Establish purchasing standards, spirit selections, and par levels.
  • Evaluate bar layouts and workflows to improve speed, efficiency, and guest experience.
  • Ensure every beverage meets company standards for quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Work alongside Operations leadership to continuously improve beverage performance.
  • Develop systems that reduce waste while elevating quality.
  • Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, organization, and operational excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences each and every time you’re behind the bar

The Maggiore Group is searching for an experienced Mixologist to lead the cocktail experience at one of our award-winning restaurants.

This is a unique opportunity where you will still work behind the bar AND shape the beverage identity of the restaurant brand, create unforgettable cocktail programs, help to develop a talented bar team, and have a direct impact on profitability, guest experience, and company growth. This is a salaried position but you will still be able to earn tips whenever you bartend – the best of both worlds!
