Job summary

RXinsider LTD. seeks a manufacturing mixer operator to ensure supply of molding materials for uninterrupted production. You will complete lot verification, record color-change transfers with the RF gun, and maintain clean work areas to prevent material contamination.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and preferably 1 year of mixing experience, with forklift certification within 30 days being a plus. You will work on MP2, SAP, G2, and Mattec systems on a first shift.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/Forklift Certification within 30 days preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure molding materials are supplied in adequate quantity to prevent downtime.
• Complete documentation for lot verification and QA requirements.
• Record accurate information at color changes and transfers using the RF gun.
• Maintain clean work areas to minimize contamination of raw material.
• Mix special blends as requested by engineering or manufacturing management.
• Perform PMs on equipment in the MP2 program.
• Assist in physical inventories and tooling setup as needed.
• Operate MP2, SAP, G2, Mattec and Word to pull reports and track data.
• Participate in West 5S and follow HSE programs.

Description

Mix materials by prescribed bills-of-material for all presses in operation in such a manner as to ensure full traceability of materials throughout the process.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure that molding materials are supplied in adequate quantity to provide for uninterrupted operation of the molding process.
• Complete all necessary documentation to:
• Supply adequate lot verification and acceptability to satisfy Quality Assurance requirements.
• Record accurate information at color changes such as return-to-stock items and transfers using the RF gun.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the work areas to minimize the possibility of contamination of raw material.
• Mix special blends of materials at the request of engineering or manufacturing management as needed.
• Remove all resin and concentrate from the Quarantine Area when it has been approved. Locate in its proper place using the RF gun.
• Perform PM’s on all equipment associated with Mixing in the MP2 program.
• Assist in the taking of physical inventories as needed.
• Preventative maintenance of tools.
• Assist in the setting of tooling and applying auxiliary equipment to tooling.
• Perform color changes.
• Be able to operate MP2, SAP, G2, Mattec and Word programs proficiently and pull up reports for these programs as needed.
• Actively participate and comply with all West HSE programs and regulations.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment in accordance with West 5S program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma Or equivalent required

Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year of mixing experience is preferred.

License and Certifications

• Manufacturing\Forklift Certification within 30 Days preferred

Physical Requirements

Medium-Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.
