General Formulations in Sparta, MI seeks a Level 1 Mixer to support the mixing room operations, including material staging, equipment setup, and adhesive vinyl compounding.
The role requires basic math, computer skills, and the ability to print pick lists, issue/close jobs, and print labels for finished materials, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following directions.
The mixing room level 1 mixers are under the direction of the level 2 mixer(s), mixing department supervisor, and occasionally the coating supervisors, particularly on the off shifts. Compounder must be capable of performing all the tasks required of them in this position from start to finish, including but not limited to staging materials and setting up equipment, learning all components of adhesive mixing and vinyl compounding. They must possess basic math and basic computer skills and be capable of printing pick lists, opening, issuing, and closing jobs in our current tracking system, and print labels for finished materials. Level 1 mixers must be able keep their area clean and organized, follow direction both in written and oral form, and work well alone and with a team.

High school diploma or GED and manufacturing background preferred.
