Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Mixing Operator for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am, Mon–Fri) in our New York manufacturing site. The role requires operating mixing/granulation equipment, adhering to SOPs, and maintaining accurate batch records.

OSHA respirator fit test is required; HS/GED with pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred. The position offers a base hourly wage of $20.00–$22.00 with total rewards including strong health benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Read, write and communicate in English (intermediate).
• High school level math and mechanical skills (intermediate).
• Flexible to work extended hours when required (intermediate).
• Ability to work as part of a team (intermediate).
• Attention to detail and accuracy (intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Operate Mixing & Granulation equipment (V blenders) and loading/unloading with set spin times.
• Set up and verify High Shear Granulator operation and spray/granulation solutions.
• Operate AMF Hobart Mixer for blending ingredients and preparation for Compression Department.
• Record each step in the batch and maintain production batch records.
• Set up drying time in chart recorders for Forced air drying ovens and document batch details.
• Ensure calibration stickers on scales and equipment are current and visible.
• Verify room release status and calibration before starting ingredient verification.
