Job summary

Staffmark Group in Gastonia, NC is hiring a Mixing Operator for the 3rd shift (10 pm–6:30 am). You will operate a multiscreen mixing system, stock raw materials, and coordinate with truck drivers to keep production running safely and efficiently while meeting batch schedules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and any manufacturing training. Strong attention to detail and teamwork help ensure quality and on-time material deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.
• Ability to work safely in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and quality standards.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate basic production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a multiscreen mixing system to provide timely batch material.
• Stock mezzanine with raw materials and prepare for the next shift.
• Work with truck drivers to offload material to silos.
• Communicate with the Team Lead to meet production schedule demands.
• Maintain inventory by adjusting it for each batch production.
• Support maintenance by reporting mechanical/electrical issues.
