Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Cooks to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As a Cook, you will work in a dynamic environment, creating culinary masterpieces and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor’s instructions for food production, preparing food and beverages according to recipes, proper techniques, and sanitation standards.
• Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and management.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand recipes and abbreviations.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Team player, able to follow procedures and directions.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients.
• No prior experience or diploma required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 20 lbs or more.
• Stand for extended periods, with ability to bend, lift, and reach.
• Work quickly and coordinate multiple orders.
• Exposure to variable temperatures.
