Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to join our Jedburg team. This role delivers ready-mix concrete with a focus on safety, quality, and exceptional customer service at the job site.

Responsibilities include operating DOT-compliant mixer trucks, inspecting loads, and maintaining equipment. Candidates need a CDL, Real ID, and at least 1 year of CDL experience; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires valid CDL Class A or B.
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence.
• Minimum of one year CDL driving experience.
• Must read/write/communicate effectively in English.
• Clean MVR with limited violations in the past years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect loads to ensure proper mix quality (slump, texture, color).
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant.
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards.
• Support plant operations and assist team members when needed.

What You’ll Do:

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required
• Must be at least:
  • 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina
  • 21 years of age for operations in Georgia
• Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), including:
  • No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years
  • No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
