Job summary

Knight’s Companies, a family‑owned leader in construction and manufacturing services, seeks drivers for concrete delivery. You will operate concrete mixer trucks, deliver to job sites, and ensure load quality and accurate paperwork.

This role emphasizes safety, reliable customer service, and teamwork across Redi-Mix, Precast, Trucking and Pumping operations. Requirements include a CDL Class A/B license, a REAL ID, and at least 1 year of CDL driving experience.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license required.
• REAL ID valid in state of residence required.
• Age: 18+ in SC; 21+ in GA.
• Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in past 5 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Basic math skills required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect loads for slump, texture, color, and quality.
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant.
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets and logs.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety standards.
• Support plant operations and assist team members when needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies

• Inspect loads to ensure proper mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color, etc.)
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards
• Support plant operations and assist team members when needed

What You Need to Be Successful:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required
• Must be at least:
  • 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina
  • 21 years of age for operations in Georgia
• Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required
• No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years
• No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Bilingual skills are a plus

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus

Pay Range

Pay Range: $24 USD - $32 USD
