Job summary

Nellson LLC in Ontario, CA is seeking a Mixer / Syrup Operator for the BAR division to operate syrup and mixing equipment, weigh and batch ingredients, and ensure quality throughout production.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to work a 3pm–3:30am shift with weekend availability. On-site manufacturing environment with safety protocols and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing or mixing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform batching and ingredient handling accurately.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on process area.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate syrup mixing equipment to prepare liquid ingredients used in production.
• Operate mixing equipment to combine dry ingredients and syrup to produce dough or cereal blends.
• Perform batching activities including weighing, measuring, and verifying ingredients.
• Work independently in syrup mixing areas or as part of a team in dry mixing operations.
• Ensure proper sequence and accuracy of ingredient addition during batching processes.
• Monitor mixing processes to ensure product consistency and quality.
• Perform basic equipment setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain accurate production and batching records.
• Follow all safety, quality, and food manufacturing procedures.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to meet sanitation standards.
• Support cross-functional production operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Mixer / Syrup Operator to join the BAR DIVISION at our ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Shift Hours: 3pm - 3:30am; weekend availability required

Position Summary:

The Mixer / Syrup Operator is responsible for operating mixing equipment within assigned production areas, including syrup preparation and dry mixing processes. This role supports batching operations and ensures ingredients are accurately measured, mixed, and processed to meet product specifications. Operators are trained across both syrup and mixing processes but are assigned to a specific area per shift.
