SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking an experienced Mixer Operator to deliver ready mix concrete and uphold our service standards. You will drive a concrete mixer truck, load and mix materials, and ensure precise deliveries to commercial and residential sites.

You’ll be the face of SRM on job sites, delivering safety-focused service, maintaining vehicle records, and coordinating with dispatch for efficient routing. Home daily and eligible for bonuses and raises are part of the offer.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL with DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service and professionalism at job sites.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at each job site representing SRM Concrete.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks for safety.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect self and others.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

• Physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather conditions.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery is a plus—but we welcome motivated newcomers ready to learn!
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
