Job description

Join us to apply for the Mixer Operator CDL Class A or B role at SRM Concrete.

We are seeking engaged, driven individuals with an active CDL license to join our team of Mixer Operators. The primary responsibility of the Mixer Operator is to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality concrete products. This involves safely operating and maintaining concrete mixer trucks, loading and mixing concrete according to specifications, and delivering to various construction sites with excellent customer service. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. We value Go-Getters and are committed to sharing in the success of SRM Concrete.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck for transportation and delivery.
• Load and mix concrete ingredients following specific orders and protocols.
• Deliver concrete products punctually, maintaining professional interactions with customers and the public.
• Conduct pre-and post-operation checks on the truck and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, maintenance, and documentation.
• Coordinate with dispatch for scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general maintenance or other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in various weather conditions.
• No unexplained employment gaps.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and adaptability.
• Experience as a Mixer Operator is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings.
