Job description

Join to apply for the Mixer Operator CDL Class A or B role at SRM Concrete.

We are seeking engaged, driven individuals with an active CDL license to join our team of Mixer Operators. The primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality concrete products. This involves safely operating and maintaining concrete mixer trucks, loading and mixing concrete according to specifications, and delivering to construction sites, both commercial and residential. The role demands a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. We value Go-Getters and are committed to sharing in the success of SRM Concrete.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck for transportation and delivery.
• Load and mix concrete ingredients following job orders and protocols.
• Ensure timely delivery, maintaining courteous interactions with customers and the public.
• Perform pre-and post-operation checks and report maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Coordinate with dispatch for scheduling and routing.
• Assist with other duties, including maintenance or supporting team members.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in various weather conditions.
• No unexplained employment gaps.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and adaptability.
• Experience as a Mixer Operator is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings.
