Job summary

Etz Hayim Holdings is seeking a Mixer Operator based in Portland, Oregon, to verify, inspect, prepare, measure, mix and properly store all WIP product and raw materials, in accordance with company policies and cGMPs.

The role requires collaboration with QC, Inventory Control and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, on-spec production and adherence to SOPs. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred and a focus on safety and cleanliness is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food processing industry is preferred.
• Basic computer skills tasks.

• Ability to work both as a part of a team as well as on your own.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility with all work duties and hours.
• Ability to receive instruction, and follow and execute directions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures formulations are completed safely, on schedule and to spec in a fast-paced environment.
• Assists with Formulations optimization with R&D; of full scale and bench top level; in production of proper manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to project-related activities (interpret results, provide critical assessment of data, and draw relevant conclusions).
• Work with cross-functional groups to execute change controls associated with Manufacturing and Packaging master records, SOPs and protocols.
• Collaborate with QC and Inventory Control to ensure raw materials, WIP and finished product compliance with cGMP standards.
• Completes all training requirements as needed.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of all work areas.
• Performs EOD process: checklist, cleaning, and storing processes.
• Performs backup duties as necessary in regard to formulations at the Portland Facility.

Etz Hayim owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals, as well as a sprawling operation that spans from farming over 300 acres of hemp, extraction, chemical processing, packaging, supply chain and warehousing to support both brands and private label customers.
