Responsibilities

  • Prepare production mixtures and slurry concentrations.
  • Load materials into mixers and hoppers.

  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards.

Job Title: Mixing Operator

Location: Frankfort, KY

Shifts:

1st shift7:00am - 3:30pm

2nd shift3:00pm - 11:30pm

3rd shift11:00pm - 7:30am

Pay Rate: $17.00

We're seeking dependable and detail-oriented Mixing Operators to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for mixing slurry and raw materials, operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring production requirements are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you'll do:
  • Start up, operate, and shut down production equipment.
  • Read and interpret machine programs and production instructions.
  • Accurately record production and quality data.
  • Lift and move raw materials, finished products, and packaged items manually or with material handling equipment.
  • Measure, mix, and pour ingredients according to production specifications.
  • Calculate slurry concentrations and prepare production mixtures.
  • Pour materials into mixer or machine hopper.
  • Load materials into mixers, hoppers, and other production equipment.
  • Operate production machinery and assist machine operators as needed.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Remove defective materials from production and notify supervisors of quality concerns.
  • Load and unload materials from machines, conveyors, and production lines.
  • Verify finished parts meet customer and production specifications.
  • Mark and label materials and finished products for identification.
  • Clean and maintain work areas, production equipment, Jet Mill, mixers, tools, and machinery.
  • Climb stairs to get to certain production areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must comply with client's background check and substance abuse policy.
  • Must have High school Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in Automotive Manufacturing
  • Minimum of 1 year prior experience in Mixing with Chemicals, Reading recipes and/or Chemical Degree
  • Excellent reading, basic math, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexible to work overtime as needed.
