Job summary

BURNCO Rock Products Ltd. is hiring CDL Drivers to join our Ready-Mix team serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with home nights and full-time stability.

You will operate or train to operate ready-mix trucks, perform routine maintenance, and support plant safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a Class A or B CDL, 1+ year driving experience, and a strong commitment to safety, customer service, teamwork, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B).
• Minimum 1 year of general commercial driving or ready-mix/mixer driving experience.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Train to safely operate, and/or operate, a ready-mix truck in urban and rural settings, including tight construction sites.
• Complete routine equipment maintenance, including daily unit cleanliness and reporting minor mechanical issues.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free areas in and around the plant.
• Perform all work safely and in compliance with company safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, BURNCO, and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing

• Train to safely operate, and / or operate, a ready-mix truck in urban and rural settings, including tight construction sites

What we would like from you

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B)
• Minimum 1 year of general commercial driving experience or ready-mix / mixer driving experience
• Ability to successfully complete MVR, background check, drug and alcohol testing, and physical assessment requirements
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including Saturdays, based on business needs
• Flexibility to support other BURNCO plants as required
• Strong commitment to safety, customer service, teamwork, and professionalism

Location and other key details:

• This is a full-time permanent field-based position at our Aledo site
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• This is a safety sensitive position, offers of employment are conditional on successful completion of fitness for duty assessments, including drug and alcohol screening and a criminal background check
• Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions and challenging outdoor environments
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly sits, stands, walks, types, and occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs
• Occasional travel to multiple BURNCO sites; must be comfortable working in an industrial setting with PPE
