Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in Topeka, KS is seeking a production operator to operate mixing machinery and assemble finished products following company recipes. You will monitor equipment, ensure safety, perform sanitation, and maintain logs as required.

This role requires experience operating manufacturing equipment, ability to read/write in English, and a willingness to work overtime or weekends as production demands.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Pulls product from freezer to be used in production.

• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

8. 8. Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.

Job Specifications

1. 1. Experience operating machinery is required. Food industry experience is preferred.
2. 2. Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood.
3. 3. English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Working Conditions

1. 1. Refrigerated food manufacturing plant.
2. 2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25F to 110F.
3. 3. Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with items in excess of 50 lbs. is required.
4. 4. Requires walking and standing for long periods of time.
5. 5. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
