A leading veterinary hospital in Turlock, CA, seeks a veterinarian for a unique hybrid role combining daytime equine general practice and small animal emergency medicine. Enjoy a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, and a supportive team environment in a facility designed for comprehensive care.
Taylor ER Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Turlock, CA, is Stanislaus County's only 24 Hour Emergency Hospital. We are seeking a veterinarian for a unique, hybrid mixed practice role that includes both Daytime Equine General Practice and Small Animal Emergency medicine.
Enjoy flexibility in your schedule and variety in your days. Caseload can be tailored to your interests, with a goal to restart equine services at this location. Caseload split could be up to 70/30 equine GP / small animal ER, with an option to transition into full-time equine work as the practice grows. Overnight small animal ER shifts are optional. We have an equine-trained veterinary assistant, a clinic truck for farm calls, and on-site facilities for haul-in equine patients.
Small animal ER mentorship is available for equine-focused DVMs interested in transitioning into mixed practice. Equine veterinarians not interested in small animal work can inquire about a part-time, equine-only role.
Our 8,500 sq. ft. facility supports a 24-hour team with daily rounding and consultations with experienced veterinarians, fostering a team approach to challenging cases. We value excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude to fit into our family-oriented environment.
