Job summary

Atlas Consultancy Group in Washington, GA is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join a true mixed practice with dogs, cattle, small ruminants, and occasional horses. You will provide medical, surgical, and emergency care across species, including farm calls and herd health work, in a supportive team environment.

The role offers steady hours, a collaborative clinic, and generous CE allowances with a path for growth in surgery and large animal medicine. Licensure in GA and a DVM are required.

Qualifications

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree that allows practicing in the US.
• Hold, or be eligible for, licensure in Georgia.
• Experienced in mixed animal practice, or a motivated newer graduate with a strong large animal interest.
• Confident and compassionate in treating a wide range of species, from cats to cattle.
• Willing to take part in farm calls and a shared on-call rotation.
• Team player who enjoys a collaborative, community oriented clinic.
• DEA, state licensure, AVMA membership, and liability insurance fully covered.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical, surgical, and emergency care across species from routine wellness to complex cases.
• Conduct farm calls and perform field surgery as needed.
• Support herd health initiatives and preventative care programs.
• Collaborate with skilled technicians and support staff in a low-drama clinic.
• Grow expertise in surgery, bovine medicine, and small ruminants through mentorship.
