Qualifications

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree that allows practicing in the US.
• Hold, or be eligible for, licensure in Georgia.
• Experienced in mixed animal practice, or a motivated newer graduate with a strong large animal interest.
• Confident and compassionate in treating a wide range of species, from cats to cattle.
• Willing to take part in farm calls and a shared on-call rotation.
• Team player who enjoys a collaborative, community oriented clinic.
• DEA, state licensure, AVMA membership, and liability insurance fully covered.

Responsibilities

We are working on behalf of a well established, community focused mixed animal practice in Washington, GA that is looking to welcome a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to its growing team.

This is a true mixed practice, with a caseload spanning dogs and cats, cattle, small ruminants, and the occasional horse, so no two days look the same. You will provide medical, surgical, and emergency care across species, from routine wellness and preventive care through to complex cases, farm calls, field surgery, and herd health work. The team is close-knit and low drama, with skilled technicians and support staff who genuinely have each other’s backs.

Hours are steady and predictable, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm plus Saturday mornings, with a reasonable, flexible on-call rotation shared across the team.
