Position Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to support our Inpatient Rehab/Swing Bed program within our Med/Surg department. While this is an Inpatient Rehab position, it is not a traditional inpatient rehabilitation unit with intensive therapy requirements. This position functions within a Med/Surg setting and primarily supports Swing Bed patients who may need continued nursing care, therapy support, strength‑building, long‑term antibiotic treatment, nutritional support, or additional recovery time before safely returning home.

This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients, supporting recovery and progression, and working in a mixed‑acuity hospital setting.

About the Role

The RN in this position will be hired under the Med/Surg department and should be comfortable working with Med/Surg patients as needed. The primary focus will be Swing Bed patients, which may include individuals who no longer require acute inpatient care but still need skilled nursing support, therapy coordination, medication administration, IV antibiotics, wound care, nutrition support, or ongoing monitoring.

This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys patient‑centered care, discharge readiness, collaboration with therapy teams, and helping patients regain strength and independence in a hospital‑based setting.

Qualifications
