Key Responsibilities:
- Mixes a good quality product according to mix procedures.
- Must have knowledge of ingredients per mix formulations, Checks for proper weights, lot numbers and manufacturers. Records information accurately on batch sheets; Checks off ingredients on mix sheet as they are being used; Makes adjustments to batch to achieve proper pH, fats, solids, etc.
- Encourages safe work practices; Follows GMP policy; Operates forklift; Helps batch person weigh ingredients for the next day’s production; Keeps mix room clear; Unloads oil, sugar, and corn syrup trucks; Pulls samples for quality control; Performs other duties as assigned.
- Keep detailed and accurate records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to use basic shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and write.
- 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Moderate physical effort required, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Operate machinery and tools with precision and care.
