Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration seeks Mitigation Technicians and Lead Technicians to respond to water, fire, mold, and storm losses. You will perform water extraction, drying, mitigation, and debris removal following IICRC standards, set up and monitor restoration equipment, and document losses using company software.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working directly with customers.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform physical, hands-on work in a variety of conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to climb, work in confined spaces, and work in hot or cold environments.
• Prior restoration, construction, demolition, or property maintenance experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential and commercial property losses involving water, fire, mold, storms, and other emergencies.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, emergency mitigation, and demolition in accordance with IICRC standards.
• Set up, monitor, and remove dehumidifiers, air movers, air purifiers, and other restoration equipment.
• Conduct initial property inspections and assess the affected areas.
• Complete moisture mapping, photographs, and loss documentation using MICA and other company software.
• Remove damaged drywall, flooring, carpeting, insulation, and other building materials.
• Pack, inventory, transport, clean, and return customers’ personal belongings.
• Serve as a professional, reassuring point of contact for customers while work is being completed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
• Operate company vehicles, including water trucks and vehicles with trailers.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency losses after regular business hours and on weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
