Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon seeks a Mitigation Technician to respond to residential and commercial service calls in the Northeast Ohio area. You will perform cleanup and restoration tasks, load and maintain equipment, and work closely with the crew chief to meet customer needs and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, and reliable driving. On-call availability is required.

• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred; IICRC certifications preferred.
• Must have clean driving record and be able to work on a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness; follow production guidelines and crew directions.
• Communicate with crew chief to ensure customer needs are met; complete end-of-day cleanup.

Due to our recent growth, we are seeking customer focused, motivated, and responsible Mitigation Technicians. The Mitigation Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of restoration projects for our various customers from fire and water damage. Technicians provide our customers with quality, consistent, and efficient work, representing the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

Job Description

Respond to service calls as needed from both residential and commercial customers. Perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO production guidelines. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Support crew chief and other production personnel, as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, and warehouse. Competes documentation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
• Set up staging area and equipment for each project
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines per work order per crew chief directions
• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Dedicated to world class customer service
• Effective oral communication
• Ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule for after hours and weekends
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
• IICRC certifications preferred
• Must have clean driving record

Physical And Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) where applicable
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
