Zusammenfassung

PANHANDLE CLEANING & RESTORATION, INC. is seeking a Remediation Technician to respond to water damage, sewage backups, floods, and fire-related damage. The role includes training on extraction and drying equipment, reporting to the Project Supervisor, and ensuring timely completion of restoration tasks.

You will work with on-site teams, coordinate with laborers, and participate in safety practices while maintaining accurate shift documentation. Training and certification are offered as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Preferred Industry Certification (IICRC) such as Water Restoration Technician, Fire Restoration Technician, Mold Remediation Technician.

Aufgaben

• Respond to water mitigation, sewage back-ups, flooding, fire board-ups, and demolition jobs daily.
• Assist in water extraction and operation of restoration equipment.
• Set up and operate drying equipment.
• Report to Project Supervisor at shift start and complete tasks daily.
• Preserve structural items and contents per supervisor instructions.
• Communicate equipment/material needs to complete assignments on schedule.
• Direct laborers in restoration protocols and maintain safety on site.
• Track personnel hours and work performed during shifts.
• Maintain on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend work.

Education and Certification:

Preferred Industry Certification but not necessary: IICRC Certified Water Restoration Technician, IICRC Fire Restoration Technician, and IICRC Certified Mold Remediation Technician, Council Certified Structural Drying Remediator/Supervisor (CSDR/ CSDS) These are a plus if not certified we will train and certify

Remediation Technician – Key Responsibilities:

• The RT will respond daily to water mitigation clean-up job, sewage back-ups, flooding, fire board-ups, and demolition jobs.
• The RT will be trained on water extraction and operation of equipment.
• The RT will learn how to set up and operate drying equipment.
• The RT is responsible for reporting to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift for job assignments and completing assigned tasks daily.
• The RT completes the process of preserving structural items and contents according to the Project Supervisor's instructions.
• The RT informs the Project Supervisor of the equipment and materials needed to complete the assignment properly and on schedule.
• The RT possesses the communication skills and experience to direct laborers in the restoration protocols.
• The RT is responsible for personnel documentation, hours, and work performed on a given shift.
• The RT practices on-the-job safety and encourages safety amongst the labor force.
• The RT will be included on an on call schedule and rotation for after hours and weekend assignments.
