Job summary

SERVPRO of MONTROSE/TELLURIDE is hiring entry-level Mitigation Laborers to help homeowners recover from water, fire, and storm damage. You’ll receive full training, learn a licensed trade (IICRC certification provided), work with real restoration equipment, and respond to emergencies as part of a crew.

Starting pay is $20–$23 per hour with overtime for emergency work, paid IICRC certification, and a clear path for advancement from crew member to supervisor or location manager across our 16

• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

We’re hiring entry-level Mitigation Laborers, no experience needed, no degree required, full training paid. You’ll learn a licensed trade (IICRC certification, on us), work with real equipment, and respond to real emergencies helping homeowners recover from water, fire, and storm damage.

What you’ll do: Respond to property damage calls. Extract water, set up drying equipment, and demo damaged materials. Work with a crew. Learn the science of restoration (psychometrics, structural drying, microbial remediation). Talk to customers on the worst day of their year and help fix it.

What we’re looking for:

• 18+, valid driver’s license, able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Show up on time, ready to work
• Willing to be on-call rotation (water damage doesn’t keep bank’s hours)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required

This is a trade. Two years in, you’re a certified technician earning real money. Five years in, you’re running jobs or a crew. Ten years in, you’re running a location. That path is real here; most of our leaders came up through this exact role.
