Mitigation Field Supervisor – Water & Fire Restoration

Location: San Marcos, CA
Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person / Field-Based
Compensation: $32–$35 per hour, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Mitigation Field Supervisor to lead daily mitigation operations for an established restoration company in San Marcos, California.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the field, leading a small team, solving problems, and helping homeowners navigate unexpected property damage.

The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who can independently assess a loss, quickly develop an accurate scope of work, and clearly communicate the mitigation plan to technicians. This individual will oversee approximately 2–3 technicians while remaining actively involved in daily field operations.

We are looking for someone who combines technical restoration knowledge with exceptional organization, follow-through, empathy, and a team-first mentality.

This is not a desk-based management position. You will be actively involved in jobsite assessments, scoping, technician oversight, documentation, and customer communication.

  • Ensure jobs are scoped promptly so work can begin efficiently and information can move quickly to estimating.
  • Monitor job progress, moisture readings, drying goals, and overall project completion.
  • Assist directly with mitigation work when needed to support the team.
  • Identify potential challenges early and proactively communicate solutions.
