Dog Gone Mold in Kansas City, MO is seeking a hardworking Mitigation Crew Member to help homeowners and businesses recover from water and mold damage. This hands-on role involves setting up drying equipment, removing damaged materials, applying antimicrobials, and documenting progress on-site.

You'll work as part of a crew, with on-call rotations and opportunities for training; IICRC certification is preferred but not required, with training provided. A reliable driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, or construction is a plus.
• Able to perform physical labor including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for emergency response.
• IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, or AMRT) preferred but not required - training available.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Perform water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and structural drying on residential and commercial properties.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
• Remove damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation as needed.
• Apply antimicrobial treatments and containment barriers in affected areas.
• Document job progress through photos, moisture readings, and daily logs.
• Operate and maintain restoration equipment and company vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site throughout the mitigation process.
