Job summary

EXP Global Inc. seeks a Missouri Transportation Leader to guide the St. Louis office's Infrastructure/Transportation projects. You will lead teams delivering roadway, bridge, water and railway initiatives and manage relationships with DOTs, municipalities and rail clients.

The role emphasizes entrepreneurial drive, client growth, and successful project delivery within EXP's integrated practice groups. Expect collaboration across offices and leadership with a focus on growth and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible relevant experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering and PE license required.
• Proven leadership and client-relations capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the successful delivery of transportation projects of varying size and complexity.
• Recruit, train, develop and retain local transportation staff to deliver projects.
• Negotiate and manage budgets and help ensure financial performance objectives are achieved for each project.
• Build and maintain client relationships, develop new clients and win work for the Infrastructure/Transportation Practice.
• Supervise and direct staff engineers and technicians to meet project deadlines, scope and budget.
• Collaborate with EXP's leadership and practice groups to advance the mission of the Infrastructure/Transportation Practice.
• Represent EXP through professional association participation and industry events.

Be our next Missouri Transportation Leaderfor ourSt. Louisoffice to work within the Infrastructure/Transportation business practice. The selected candidate will work under the direct supervision the Transportation Practice Leader with a focus on roadway, bridge, water and railway related projects.The Missouri Transportation Leader will provide leadership for the successful delivery of projects and grow the transportation practice within the St. Louis office to service the eastern half of Missouri as well as southern Illinois marketplace. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in delivering projects, as well as managing client relationships for the Missouri Department of Transportation, City of St. Louis, surrounding counties and municipalities, Metro Transit and Class I freight rail clients. This is a seller-doer roll that requires someone with entrepreneurial sprit and demonstrated success in delivering quality solutions for that meet client needs and exceed their expectations.

What your experience looks like

• 15+ years of progressively responsible relevant experience
• BS in Civil Engineering
• Licensed PE in the State of Missouri, a PE License in Illinois would be desirable, but not required
• Proven record of client relationship development and maintenance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise staff engineers and technicians
• Strong leadership, project management skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to recruit, grow and mentor staff
• Demonstrated industry participation and network
