Job summary

Delta's MO Mining Internship program offers hands-on exposure to industry operations with mentorship and networking opportunities for students pursuing business, engineering, or construction management.

Interns will work in various administrative and operational areas, contribute to focused projects in aggregate production, and apply classroom concepts to real business operations. This is a on-site internship located in Cape Girardeau, MO under Reeves Construction Company.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's degree program such as Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain clean driving record required
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Embrace the Companys safety culture and support safety initiatives
• Participate in production planning and assist in aggregate production
• Perform sampling and gradation testing at quarries and labs
• Assist work crews in manufacturing and crushing operations and operate heavy equipment
• Complete other internship project tasks as assigned
