Job summary

Lifeline Children’s Services in Mississippi seeks a State Director to lead the state team of adoption and pregnancy counseling managers, caseworkers, and specialists. The role includes developing a fundraising plan to grow the state budget and building church partnerships to advance Lifeline’s mission.

You will oversee operations across the state, recruit and develop staff, and articulate a gospel-centered vision to donors, partners, and communities while expanding outreach to vulnerable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of workplace experience (ideally ministry-related).
• 5+ years of fundraising experience.
• Strong track record of leading, inspiring, and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build upon existing and historical relationships with local churches and donors.
• Establish a fundraising plan and execute to hit annual budget goal.
• Organize and direct the work of the state office and delegate responsibilities to staff members.
• Pursue opportunities to present in churches about adoption and Lifeline church campaigns.
• Develop a plan for public relations to promote Lifeline from both a development and awareness platform.
• Recruit efforts to partner with families who have a heart for the Gospel and vulnerable children.
• Lead, develop, and create a unified team culture among staff in a gospel-centered way.
