Maximus is seeking a Solutions Analyst to support the National Security market in a remote role. The candidate will act as a bridge between growth, technology, and operations teams, delivering fast-turn responses, white papers, RFIs, and proposal content with credible, differentiated outputs.

This is a remote position.
Responsible for the architectural integrity of the program and maintaining the enterprise vision of the solution from a technical and business perspective. Find balanced solutions that satisfy both business and technical requirements.
Responsible for the business/technical solution and guiding what should be done within the program to ensure alignment with the enterprise strategy.
Provide technical design, prototype development, and support to program management in the initiation, design, development, implementation, maintenance and management of service- based enterprise architecture.
Lead enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development. Mediate between competing priorities or technical disagreements.
-Participate in technical working sessions and gather input from SMEs.
Work with internal and external teams to incorporate domain-specific capabilities and competencies into solution designs.
Work closely with business leaders, customers, or other stakeholders to understand priorities and constraints. Facilitate collaboration across organizations and act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Help guide teams through technology transitions. Support training and adoption efforts to ensure successful implementation.

Delegate and review work of junior technical professionals.
Serve as an early point of coordination for fast-turn customer information requests (data calls, sources sought, capability statements, quick-turn questions) within the National Security market vertical.
With the oversight of both the Growth and Technology teams, triage incoming requests, identify the right internal contributors, and drive them to an on-time, quality response.
Maintain a working library of reusable content, past responses, and approved messaging on technology-centered capabilities and solutions relevant to the DoD and DHS markets aligned to Maximus’s core focus areas and technical differentiation.
Reach across growth (business development/capture), technology (CTO/engineering), and operations organizations to gather inputs and translate them into a single, coherent customer-facing narrative.
Act as an honest and transparent broker between technical and non-technical contributors, resolving gaps and inconsistencies before content reaches the customer.
Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts across the enterprise to know who to call and how to get answers quickly.
Draft and/or co-author white papers, RFI responses, and concept papers that clearly articulate Maximus's value proposition for National Security missions (defense, intelligence community, homeland security, mission-critical/controlled environments).
Support RFP development by contributing technical and programmatic content, coordinating inputs from SMEs, and helping ensure compliance and consistency across volumes.
Support color-team reviews, incorporate reviewer feedback, and help maintain compliance and requirements traceability.
Support the preparation and delivery of customer briefings, capability demonstrations, and industry-day materials for national security customers.
Engage directly with customers (as appropriate) to understand mission priorities, pain points, and information needs.
Translate customer conversations into actionable inputs for growth, technology, and operations stakeholders.
Actively use AI tools (e.g., generative AI, research and drafting assistants, Copilot-style tools) to accelerate research, first-draft content generation, synthesis of large volumes of source material, and quality/compliance checks.
Treat AI as a force multiplier for human judgment — applying it responsibly to speed up work while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and Maximus's quality standards, and remaining mindful and vigilant with controlled/classified handling requirements.
Identify and share opportunities to apply AI and automation to reduce turnaround time on recurring request types and to openly advocate and share AI capabilities with all teams.
Engage with engineering and Agile delivery teams to understand current and planned technical capabilities relevant to National Security (e.g., cybersecurity, secure cloud, mission systems, identity/vetting platforms).
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, backlog grooming) as needed to stay current on platform capabilities.
Translate technical capabilities into customer-friendly language for briefings, white papers, and proposal content.

7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
5 years of experience with a demonstrated track record of customer engagement, white paper development, RFI/RFP responses, and proposal support.
Experience working within or alongside national security markets (DoD, Intelligence Community, DHS, or adjacent agencies) preferred.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance may be required depending on assignment.
Proven ability to engage directly with customers and represent Maximus credibly in briefings, meetings, and written communications.
Strong technical writing skills with demonstrated experience producing white papers, RFI responses, or similar customer-facing content.
Excellent verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting in or supporting customer briefings and demonstrations.
Genuine interest and aptitude for how technology — including AI — can be leveraged to accelerate research, synthesis, and content development.
Hands-on experience using AI/generative AI tools for research, drafting, or productivity is a plus.
Comfortable learning new tools and platforms quickly and applying them to real work products.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple fast-turn requests simultaneously under deadline pressure.
Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries (growth, technology, operations) and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating with a degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working directly with technical teams, such as Agile team participation.
Engineering background or degree, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
Familiarity with national security agencies, missions (defense, intelligence, homeland security), and competitive landscape.
Experience contributing to RFP volumes or supporting capture/proposal processes.
Active duty or government service experience in DoD or DHS.
Active security clearance a plus, though not required for this level.
