Job summary

KBR Mission Technology Solutions (MTS) invites motivated students to join its Defense & Intel Internship Program. This internship delivers hands-on experience on national security and advanced technology initiatives, with real-world assignments and exposure to engineering, software, cyber, data analytics, science, and program management.

Interns work with experienced professionals on meaningful projects, gain skills across technical and operational challenges, and have opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Master's, or PhD student.
• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Program Management or other related disciplines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, leadership potential, and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with common computer applications and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering, technology, cybersecurity, intelligence, operations, logistics, science, business, or program management activities.
• Assist with research, analysis, design, development, testing, integration, or process improvement efforts.
• Contribute to projects that address real-world customer challenges and mission requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver project objectives.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to project teams and leadership.
• Participate in technical reviews, team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Gain exposure to industry tools, technologies, and best practices relevant to your area of study.
• Present project outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders at the conclusion of the internship.
