Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• 2-3+ years of production-grade C++, Rust or equivalent experience in a Linux development environment.
• Experience designing and building secure software systems.
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
• Travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure software systems for mission software stacks in a Linux environment.
• Hardening Linux-based systems and reducing attack surface (disabling unused services, minimizing packages, least-privilege configurations).
• Implement cryptographic key management, secure boot, or code-signing pipelines.
