Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Mission System Engineer to join an agile program delivering mission-critical software for SIGINT mission management.

You will work with mission end users, government stakeholders, and software engineers to ensure the team builds the right product to support users in the execution of their mission. Day-to-day duties include standing up status updates, breaking down epics into actionable Jira tasks with the Software Team Lead, coordinating with the UX designer

Qualifications

• Clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain CI poly).
• Available to work in-person at CACI facilities in Sterling, VA or Aurora, CO.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 2+ years SIGINT Mission Management experience.
• Familiar with customer and user organizations and mission goals.
• Experience with creating PowerPoint presentations with visualizations and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Enjoys working with others.
• Time management and independent decision making.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate exchanges among end users, stakeholders, and software engineers to ensure the right product is built.
• Break down Epics and User Stories into actionable Jira tasks with the software team lead.
• Collaborate with UX designer to ensure design standards are met.
• Contribute automation ideas and explore new ways to automate systems and processes.
• Support agile software teams and participate in stand-up meetings.
