We are seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME II) – Mission Support Team Lead to support the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Intelligence & Analysis (I&A) Vetting Analysis Division (VAD) under the IPMSS contract. This work is contingent upon contract award.
The Mission Support Lead provides high-level expert advice, technical guidance, and operational leadership to the TSA I&A VAD. Serving as a team lead, this position oversees core mission support activities across VAD technology business lines (such as Secure Flight, Credential Vetting, Encounter Analysis, and Identity Verification). The SME II leads a team in analyzing system effectiveness, managing business requirements, and executing continuity planning to respond to intelligence-driven, risk-based operational demands.

The person in this role will be required to be on-site at the designated office location at least one day per week with respective team as assigned by Government lead and additional days as operationally needed, ensuring adequate support for in-person collaboration, meetings, and critical on-site activities.
Schedule flexibility is required in the event of an actual emergency the Contracting Officer may direct the contractor to change work hours or locations or institute changes to telework posture.
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $133,631 and $167,038 annually. Actual salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s specialized skills, certifications, and years of experience.
