Candidate must be located within commute of Dillsburg, PA.

The Mission Support and Appeals Manager creates and manages the Mission Support annual calendar and generates print and digital collateral and communications to secure and increase philanthropic support. This role works within the Mission Support team and collaborates closely with the PSL Marketing and Sales team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in fund development; preferred
  • Experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, media relations, or public relations; preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or other design software; required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and mail merge; required
  • Blackbaud experience; desirable

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Mission Support to create and manage a calendar and schedule appeals utilizing various media to engage potential and current donors.
  • Maintain a consistent brand across PSL's mission support communications.
  • Manage development and maintenance of print and electronic collateral, collaborating on distribution.
  • Work with the team to gather impact data, tell stories, and strengthen relationships with partners.
  • Develop and implement print and digital appeals aligned with PSL's philanthropic priorities, mission, and vision, including themes, materials, and acknowledgments.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager on timelines and distribution data.
  • Assist in crafting support materials for personalized solicitations.
  • Produce 2-4 newsletters annually.
  • Create promotional materials for Team Giving engagement.
  • Plan and develop resources for Founder's Day and Giving Tuesday with compelling calls to action.
  • Design banners, flyers, posters, slide shows, and graphics for events and communications.
  • Contribute content to publications and social media.
  • Assist in developing the Annual and Impact Reports.
  • Update mission support webpages and liaise with external vendors.
