Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to oversee the government-owned mission stock and provide timely logistical support for warehousing activities. You will lead inventory teams, ensure data accuracy, and maintain compliance with contract performance levels.

Key duties include planning workloads, directing staff, and using DSS and Government Data Systems to fulfill the PWS, while upholding safety, quality, and procedure compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Three (3) years' experience in inventory using DSS or equivalent automated WMS within the past five (5) years.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees engaged in conducting DSS inventories, researching inventory discrepancies, and documenting gains and losses through causative research, performing denial research, item data maintenance, and locations surveys/validations.
• Responsible for ensuring the inventory integrity of the Government-owned mission stock meets the Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs) outlined in the contract.
• Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected workload on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager, Alternate Site Manager, and/or Inventory/COSIS Manager.
• Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
• Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.
• Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and conditions of the contract.
• Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements of the PWS.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
• Maintains harmony among workers.
• Ensures all safety precautions are being implemented.
