Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer in the Intelligence Sector to design, develop, and sustain Python-based automation tools and GUI dashboards for mission environments. You will work with government stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality solutions.

The role emphasizes BOM integration, systems engineering processes, and collaboration across teams to enable modernization and operational visibility while maintaining ISO/IEC 15288 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline; six years of systems/software engineering experience in mission-critical environments.
• Experience developing Python-based automation solutions, GUI apps and using analytics/monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of BOM integration and ISO/IEC 15288 lifecycle standards; strong analytical and collaboration skills.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation tools and infrastructure solutions for enterprise and mission environments.
• Develop and enhance GUI applications and dashboards for monitoring and management.
• Analyze system performance and operational data to support engineering decisions.
• Support BOM integration, configuration management, and infrastructure sustainment.
• Apply systems engineering principles across the lifecycle: requirements, design, integration, testing, operations, maintenance.
• Provide technical recommendations for modernization and infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to produce documentation and ensure ISO/IEC 15288-aligned deliverables.
